Walks programmes are sent out by email every 3 months

The walks advertised on the WhatsApp site on a weekly basis

Is there an opportunity for car sharing ?

Yes the WhatsApp site shows who can offer lifts or who needs a lift

How can I find out how many people are going on the walks ?

There is a WhatsApp site you register your intention of attending the weekend walk

Are the walks mainly on a Saturday ?

The walks are mainly on a Saturday but there are a number of the walks on a Sunday

Who leads the walks ?

Members of WAWA are encouraged to lead a walk

Are the walk leaders  trained ?

No, the walk leaders are not trained, but the walks will have been checked before the group go on the walks

How long are the walks ?

Weekend walks are mainly 6 to 9 miles

What days do you have the summer evening walks ?

On Tuesdays. 

How long are the evening walks ?

Walks are generally 2hrs or 5 miles

How many weekends away do you have during the year ?

6

What is the accommodation like for the weekends away ?

Usually in hostels or bunk houses although we are looking for different options as well
